Between Municipal Elections

Qualifying concluded at 4:30 pm on Friday August 20, 2021.
The following candidates have qualified for the November 2, 2021 election:

Council Member (1) – 2 Year Term (to fill the unexpired term of Barry Turner)

The election will be held at the Praise Center at 1857 Highway 78 on Tuesday November 2, 2021 from 7 am until 7 pm.

NOTICE -Town of Between Municipal Election

Qualifying for positions on the Town of Between town government begins on Monday August 16th and ends on Friday August 20th. There are two (2) four year council member positions and one (1) two year term council member position available. The position of mayor is also up for reelection.Qualification packages can be picked up at either Mayor Post’s residence at 3020 Sweetwater Trail or Vice Mayor Satterwhite’s residence at 3028 Sweetwater Trail. Both locations are in the Saint Martin Estates Subdivision.
The completed packages, including the qualifying fee, must be returned to the above location(s) no later than Friday August 20th at 4:30 p.m. Packages received after this date/time will not be accepted.

Voter Registration – November 2, 2021 Municipal Election

If you have not yet registered to vote in the upcoming November election, I encourage you to do so. In Walton County you can register at the Walton County Elections Office located at 1110 E. Spring Street, Suite 100 in Monroe, GA.You can also register online at sos.ga.gov/GAOLVR. Or at any county library.

The registration deadline is the fifth Monday prior to the election. (If Monday is a holiday, the deadline moves to the next day). The same deadline applies to changing your name and/or address prior to the election.

The Town of Between will be holding elections on November 2, 2021 at the Praise Center located at 1857 Highway 78, Monroe, GA. There will be two (2) open council members and one (1) incumbent council member positions on the ballot. In addition, the Mayor position will also be on the ballot.

I encourage every registered voter in theTown of Between to get out and vote for the candidate of your choice for these important positions.
