Proposed 2021 Operating Budget
At the November 17, 2020 council meeting, Mayor Robert Post presented the proposed 2021 operating budget to the council and public in attendance. The budget format has been upgraded from previous years proposed budgets to give it a more organized look. The addition of a Capital Outlays section has been added to fund needed equipment for the new town hall that will be opening in 2021. Overall the proposed budget remains realistic for the needs of the town.
Safety Signage Installed
After several accidents in the "s" curve on South New Hope Church Road, we were able to have reflective chevron directional signs installed in both the south and north bound lanes. These new signs will enable motorists to better identify the sharp curve in the roadway at this location. This problem area was brought to the Mayor’s attention by a resident who lives in the area.
