New Town Hall Project
The surveyors were on property today to identify the property boundaries for the new town hall building. Sy Richards Architect in Monroe is designing the new building. If all goes well, we hope to be out for bid by the end of the year.

FY 2022 Operating Mid Year Reconciliation Operating Budget
Attached for your review is the "Mid Year Reconciliation Operating Budget Document. The purpose of a reconciliation budget is to transfer funds within the formally approved operating budget to eliminate line item shortfalls or overages identified during the first half of the fiscal year. No additional funds are allocated to the operating budget. This is merely a "cleanup" process.

Voter Information
The Primary Election early voting began on May 2nd and will run through May 20th. The primary election is Tuesday, May 24, 2022. If a runoff is necessary it will be held on June 21, 2022.The deadline for requesting Absentee Ballots is May 13th.
Walton County has two permanent advance voting locations: 1. Nowell Recreation Center, 201 W. Spring St., Monroe, GA 30655 2. Meridian Park, 105 Generation Blvd., Loganville, GA 30052.
The Secretary of State’s Office has a website with valuable voter information.
