National Injury Prevention Day 2021

The Town of Between, through a proclamation, will declare November 18, 2021 as National Injury Prevention Day in the town. The Proclamation will be presented to the town council for adoption through a motion at the November 9th, 7 PM. council meeting at town hall.
Join me in observation of this important day and commend Piedmont Walton Hospital and advocacy organizations that work to bring awareness about ways to reduce the risks of injuries across our Nation.

Town of Between Election Results

Attached are the results of the Town of Between Municipal Election held November 2, 2021. I want to welcome our two new council members, Mr. Brian Rubin and Mr. William (Bill) Boswell. I also want to congratulate Ms. Mary Ann Rivers for winning the Special Election 2 year term. The Town of Between will have a great team to help preserve our community and to ensure growth is planned in a manner that enhances the town.

EARLY VOTING

Early voting for the November 2nd election continues until October 29th.For the first time in the history of of Town of Between, we have multiple candidates vying for council position.
Please get out and vote. We want to have a large turnout for this election.

You can vote at the Newell Center off Spring Street in downtown Monroe.

Street Resurfacing – Saint Martin Estates

After waiting 14 years the resurfacing of the streets in Saint Martin Estates will begin on Monday October 11th. The Walton County Public Works Department will begin prepping the streets today (Friday) and will start paving on Monday. The project is expected to take 4 days to complete. During this time there may be some delays getting into and out of the neighborhood. But any inconvenience will be well worth it.

Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum

On Thursday October 7th at 6 pm, the Walton County Chamber of Commerce will host the second "Candidate Forum" prior to the November 2nd election. This forum will allow candidates vying for council positions in the Town of Between and City of Loganville to introduce themselves, answer questions from a moderator and then have time for a closing statement. The Town of Between has three candidates running to fill two vacant council member positions. They include: Brian Rubin, Jonathan Page and William Boswell.
