Voter Information
The Primary Election early voting began on May 2nd and will run through May 20th. The primary election is Tuesday, May 24, 2022. If a runoff is necessary it will be held on June 21, 2022.The deadline for requesting Absentee Ballots is May 13th.
Walton County has two permanent advance voting locations: 1. Nowell Recreation Center, 201 W. Spring St., Monroe, GA 30655 2. Meridian Park, 105 Generation Blvd., Loganville, GA 30052.
The Secretary of State’s Office has a website with valuable voter information.

Future Council Meeting Start Time
Beginning with the April 12, 2022 council meeting, the start time will change to 6:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm. This will put our meeting inline with other municipalities and the Walton County Board of Commissioner meeting.

Annexation
At its February 8, 2022 meeting, the Town of Between council approved the annexation of 19.04 acres of land into the town jurisdiction. This property combined with the 5.5 acres that was already in the town is part of the commercial development Rosewood Commercial Subdivision located on GA 10/ US 78 and Rosewood Circle. Rezoning of the entire 25+ acres from B2 to P-B-D was also approved.
